BeautyRival – Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, the duo behind the LVMH Prize–winning label Marques’Almeida, chose a softer direction this season. Known for distressed denim and raw aesthetics, they embraced lightness and optimism for spring 2026.
The collection opened with pastel, flowy dresses. Some carried watercolor floral prints, while others featured layered fabrics that created movement. The designers explained that this lightness was intentional, offering beauty and calm in uncertain times.

The runway took place on the 59th floor of 22 Bishopsgate, London’s second-tallest skyscraper. The venue, soon to host a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, offered dramatic city views. Still, the designers kept the spotlight on clothing that felt real, durable, and modern.
Casting choices reinforced their vision. Marques and Almeida brought in models of various ages and body types, including a pregnant model. This inclusivity highlighted their belief that fashion should serve everyone. They also stressed that garments should last, be worn often, and eventually passed down through generations.
